Before acting on an article
Check the year, class and examination board before following a result guide. Words such as expected or likely indicate uncertainty. Only an official board notice or results service can confirm an announcement and an individual student's record.
Dates, mistakes and external sources
Information can be incomplete, mistaken or superseded after publication. A visible publication date, update label or confident headline does not prove that every statement has been rechecked.
